After receiving tons of great feedback I decided to continue development on Return. All progress can be followed on Twitter and on my Instagram. Thanks for stopping by!

Return was made in less than 48 hours for the Alberta Game Jam 2020

Theme: After The Storm

All assets, sounds, and code were made during the jam period (apart from basic scripts and a few sounds).

Prologue

The world is ending and your last hope for survival is taking a spaceship to a newly colonized planet. During the long journey your ship encounters an error and the auto-pilot returns to your home planet for repairs.  Upon returning you discover the horrific storm of events that has come to pass. You must gather resources to repair your ship, fight mutated creatures, and take off to the new world. Good luck traveler.

Been keeping an eye on your games and they are AMAZING and well done. I've watched my friend play them as he has a windows computer and I have a Mac. if you Ould at least make a Mac demo for any of your games that'd be Awesome. if not no worries! keep up the good work and can't wait for the full release

Good

(Gameplay footage below, but first a review :D)

This game really is just as the comments down below have said, and that is that the game is beautiful.

The aesthetic and the art style really captivated me, wanted me to wish there was more to do/more levels and story too.

I really hope you do more with this game because I would so love to return to this game in the future! :D (No pun attended. Or is it?)

A truly beautiful game aestetic wise. The art style is gorgeous and I felt myself sad that it had ended so quickly. I found it funny that giant snails had taken over and had myself wondering why there were giant skeletons around the place. I generally found myself wanting to know more about this place and it was a nice play for sure.

Thanks for that US. :D

Its really awesome and kool! I love the art style and the music was peaceful, tbh the atmosphere reminded its a game about the end of the world.. I made a video about that too, Thank you so much for this beautiful game.. Love to see other games like this one.

Haha, love the thumbnail! I'll be sure to give it a watch when I have a chance. Thanks for playing! A future update is definitely on the way to fix all the bugs.
